New Welcomhotel Hamsa now in Manali

The Welcomhotel brand continues its growth journey with the addition of this premier mountain resort, marking the presence of three Welcomhotel properties in Himachal Pradesh. ITC’s Hotel Group’s asset-right strategy has been instrumental in this expansion, especially in hill destinations.

Nestled in the northern region of Manali town within a well-planned four-acre apple orchard, Welcomhotel Manali offers an immersive stay experience with a panoramic view of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks. During summer, the resort and its surroundings are adorned with lush apple and plum orchards, creating a picturesque spectacle against the backdrop of the azure skies. In winter, Welcomhotel Hamsa transforms into an enchanting snow destination, offering unforgettable memories frozen in time.

Anil Chadha, Divisional Chief Executive, ITC Hotels, commented on the growing inventory of the Welcomhotel brand, stating, “Domestic tourism continues to grow steadily. At ITC Hotels, we acknowledge this trend and strive to offer diverse destination experiences to our guests. We believe that Welcomhotel Hamsa, Manali, will further strengthen our presence in Himachal Pradesh. With significant tourism interest in the state, guests will truly relish their stay at this aesthetically designed resort, showcasing breathtaking beauty in both spring and snow.”

Sailesh Dhir, Owner of Welcomhotel Manali, highlighted the unique features of Manali, stating, “What makes Manali special to us is its access to some of India’s (if not the world’s) most coveted hikes and beautiful scenery, much of which can be enjoyed from our location without stepping into a car. Now, with the Atal tunnel nearby, all of Lahaul and Spiti is easily accessible too.”

Far from the city’s hustle and bustle, Welcomhotel Manali offers an unparalleled destination experience. Perched at an elevation of 2255 meters, the resort provides breathtaking panoramic views of the Dhauladhar ranges, Pir Panjal ranges, and the Manali Valley, making it an ideal retreat for adventure enthusiasts and leisure seekers alike.

Dining at Welcomhotel Manali is an enchanting experience. The Lighthouse, a multi-cuisine restaurant located in The Conservatory, offers stunning views of the snow-clad peaks, lush forests, and apple orchards. The menu features seasonal produce sourced locally, supporting the farming community. Guests seeking relaxation can indulge in rejuvenating therapies at K by Kaya Kalp, the resort’s spa.

Families can enjoy picnics in the landscaped lawns or relax in the cozy in-house library. Guided walks allow guests to explore the flora and fauna while soaking in the serenity of the surroundings. In the evenings, gather around a warm bonfire for storytelling and barbecue sessions under the stars.

The well-appointed rooms with wooden ceilings reflect local architecture, creating a cozy ambiance. The combination of pinewood flooring and large bay windows offers breathtaking vistas, making it an ideal destination for work and relaxation.

Located 25 minutes from Old Manali, Welcomhotel Hamsa Manali is situated in Burwa Village, en route to popular attractions such as Rohtang Pass and Solang Valley. With its proximity to tourist spots like the Atal Tunnel, Manali Mall Road, Hadimba Temple, and Sissu (Lahaul Valley), the resort is the perfect retreat to create unforgettable memories.
