It was a former Portuguese colony as the Portuguese arrived in Macao in the 16th century. Among its greatest treasures are the various historical sites like the Ruins of St. Paul’s, A-Ma Temple, Taipa Village and many more while more modern attractions include the 338m Macau Tower – featuring the world’s highest bungy jump and the Macao Giant Panda Pavilion.
