Air India resumes Delhi-Tel Aviv flights after 5 months

Air India has resumed its flights from New Delhi to Tel Aviv, after suspension of flights for five months.

According to a spokesperson for the airline, the Tata group-owned carrier restarted the Delhi-Tel Aviv flight route on Sunday. Initially, flights on this route will be operated three times a week – on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays – utilising a Boeing 787 aircraft.

The interruption in service had commenced on October 7, 2023, in response to security concerns arising from the Hamas attack on Tel Aviv.
