Vishwas Makhija steps down as ATOAI President

Vishwas Makhija, President of the Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI), has stepped down from his post citing health reasons. He, and the present team, took charge in January 2021 and made significant progress in moving forward ATOAI’s agenda over the past year in very trying circumstances, the association said. His resignation was accepted by the ATOAI Executive Committee.

Vaibhav Kala, who currently serves as ATOAI’s Vice President of ATOAI will assume charge as the Officiating President till the next AGM later this year. The rest of the office-bearers will continue in their present roles. Makhija, meanwhile, will continue as a member of the Executive Committee, in an advisory capacity.
