Vietjet to start direct flight connecting Ho Chi Minh City to Sydney and Melbourne from April 8

Vietjet will launch its new direct route connecting Ho Chi Minh City to Sydney and Melbourne. As part of the launch, thousands of free promotional tickets are available for travellers. This marks a significant step in the company’s expansion of its international flight network, which will this year include all five continents.

From February 14 to 20, Vietjet will be selling tickets starting at AUD0.00* for its direct flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Melbourne (Tullamarine Airport) and Sydney. The tickets are available via the website www.vietjetair.com and mobile app, with a flexible flight period from April 8, 2023, to October 29, 2023

The first direct flights to Melbourne will take off on April 8, 2023, with six flights per week, operating every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from Ho Chi Minh City at 10:55 am and landing in Melbourne at 10:35 pm (local time). The return flights from Melbourne to Ho Chi Minh City will take place every Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday, departing at 12:30 am and landing at 6:30 am (local time).

The first direct flights connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Sydney will operate from April 12, 2023, with six flights per week: the flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Sydney will depart every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, taking off at 7:30 pm and landing at 7:20 am (local time). The flights from Sydney to Ho Chi Minh City will take place every Monday, Thursday and Saturday, departing at 10:15 am and landing at 4:30 pm (local time).

Members who join the Vietjet SkyJoy reward programme and buy tickets can gain up to 3,300 SkyPoints via the SkyJoy app on Apple Store, Google Play Store or directly from the website https://skyjoy.vn. They can then use SkyPoints to redeem Vietjet coupons and presents from more than 250 preferred dining, shopping, and travel businesses in Vietnam.

Passengers flying the new routes can choose from a range of ticket classes, including SkyBoss Business, SkyBoss, Deluxe, and Eco, each offering all-inclusive services such as up to 60 kgs of checked baggage, organic food, free travel insurance, and more. Different travel classes include:

Additionally, customers who book and pay through Vietjet SkyClub are not charged any transaction fees. Passengers will receive a VND100,000 (*) e-voucher at evoucher.vietjetair.com from now until March 15, 2023, after successfully purchasing tickets.
