TTA Launches Taiwan Specialist Program to Empower Indian Travel Professionals

Enrollment for the Specialist Program is now open

In an effort to strengthen the bond between Taiwan and the Indian tourism sector, the Taiwan Tourism Administration (TTA) has introduced a new initiative known as the Taiwan Specialist Program. This innovative online learning initiative is designed to educate and empower Indian travel professionals about Taiwan’s diverse attractions, positioning it as a premier destination for Indian travellers.

Dubbed as “TIME FOR TAIWAN,” the program consists of nine comprehensive modules covering a wide range of topics, including cultural insights, visa procedures, transportation options, accommodation choices, itinerary planning, MICE incentives, Indian dining options, and venues. Through engaging content and interactive webinar sessions, participants will gain valuable insights into Taiwan.

Upon successful completion of each module, participants undergo a rigorous Q&A session to assess their understanding and unlock the next module. Those who achieve a score of 70% or higher ultimately earning the prestigious title of “Taiwan Specialist” certified by the Taiwan Tourism Administration.

Certified specialists are eligible for exclusive rewards and events sponsored by the Taiwan Tourism Administration, including the chance to win exciting prizes such as a Fam trip to Taiwan, electronic gadgets, and Taiwan Tourism Hampers, etc.

This initiative aims to equip Indian travel professionals with the knowledge and resources needed to effectively promote and sell Taiwan as a premier travel destination.

Expressing his enthusiasm about the program, Noel Saxena, representing the Taiwan Tourism Administration in India, stated, “We are thrilled to launch the Taiwan Specialist Program, which underscores our commitment to strengthening partnerships with Indian travel professionals. By providing them with in-depth knowledge about Taiwan, we aim to enhance their ability to showcase Taiwan’s unique offerings to Indian travelers.”
