Tourism Malaysia Explores Opportunities at IITM Pune

Tourism Malaysia Mumbai actively participated in the India International Travel Mart (IITM) held in Pune from November 24 to 26, 2023.

IITM serves as a dynamic platform, bringing together travel enthusiasts and industry experts to showcase, discuss, and trade existing and upcoming products and services. This event fosters connections, allowing participants to accelerate their businesses by engaging with potential customers, collaborators, and other industry stakeholders.

Noriah Jaafar, Director of Tourism Malaysia Mumbai, expressed enthusiasm about the participation, stating, “We are pleased to be part of IITM Pune 2023. This event provides us with a valuable opportunity to connect with industry leaders, decision-makers, and travel experts not only from Pune but also from Tier II & III cities in Maharashtra. It also allows us to engage with inbound travel agents interested in exploring outbound destinations.”

IITM Pune recorded a significant turnout, with 679 travel agents and approximately 180 participants attending the event, reflecting the growing interest and engagement within the travel community.
