TAT Mumbai in association with AdhVaan Knowledge Hub successfully completed destination training programme

Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Mumbai office partnered with AdhVaan Knowledge Hub for the DestinationThailand  “Amazing Thailand – Amazing New Chapters” Product presentation to travel agents in Visakhapatnam and Indore. Approximately 100 travel agents attended this product presentation.

Speaking on this, Isada Saovaros Director, Tourism Authority of Thailand- Mumbai Office, said, “I am pleased to announce a successful conclusion of our exclusive training programme at Vizag and Indore for travel agents. Programmes as such enable Indian travel agents to promote Thailand as an unmissable tourist destination more effectively, which in turn will help prospective tourists to realise the vivid wonders that Thailand has to offer”

Hemendra Singh Jadon, Chairman Travel Agents Association of India MP & CG Chapter and Director Overseas Travel , Indore, said, “All agents benefitted from this program. We have  come to know ,understood other products. Previously sold only in Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket & few more places. Thailand offers adventure, wild life,amusement parks ,shopping,culture, religion. Thailand is not a just destination for a 3/ 4 night itinerary ,plan it for 10 days even 15 days. It has the feel of other international destinations  like Venice, Santorini, Japan’s cherry blossoms, all flavours whether weddings, MIICE. Indians have concern about food, Indian food is widely available. People are very nice”

K Vijay Mohan,. Managing Director , Holiday World and President Tours & Travels Association of Andhra, Chairman AP & Telangana ADTOI, said, ” The destination training was very well structured, planned. It was full of interesting snippets, very informative. Gave us real insight into the destination”

Mr M V R Murty, Director Arohaka International Tours & Travels, Vizag, said, “The destination product presentation was very detailed, apart from Bangkok and Pattaya, so many cities are untapped until now. Will create itineraries with these and offer my clients ”

The travel agents at the end of the workshop have excellent product knowledge to sell the destination confidently. They will thus offer, promote the destination to prospective travellers.
