STIC Travel Group appoints Sanjay Kumar as Director Cruises & Leisure

 

STIC Travel Group’s Board of Directors has promoted Sanjay Kapoor to the position of Director – Cruises & Leisure, effective from February 20, 2024. Kapoor has over three decades of experience in the Indian travel industry and has been with STIC for more than two decades, demonstrating exceptional dedication and expertise across various domains, including Sales & Marketing of Airlines, Cargo & Leisure. He was previously Vice President of Sales Support and Marketing.

Gursharn Goyal, Managing Director and Co-founder of STIC Travel Group, expressed her confidence in Kapoor, stating that his wealth of experience and diverse portfolio would continue to drive innovation and excellence within the organisation. Isha Goyal, CEO of STIC Travel Group, welcomed the board’s approval, highlighting Kapoor’s leadership in the team and his dedication to promoting cruises.

Kapoor’s appointment comes at a time when Indian leisure, particularly cruises and outbound travel, is experiencing tremendous growth. As Director, he will lead the Cruise and Leisure business of STIC GSA Services Private Limited, embarking on a new chapter in his journey with STIC Travel Group.

Throughout his tenure, he has held various roles encompassing marketing, operations, sales support, and business development, and he continues to spearhead a significant portion of the STIC GSA business.
