TBM Staff - Hyderabad Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Center has recently appointed Tanmay Vaidya as the Director of Operations. Tanmay is a result driven individual with a track record of guiding teams to deliver optimum results with his creative and practical approach. He will be responsible to drive the hotel operations and guest engagement.
Tanmay is a graduate from The Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development (OCLD). He began his career at The Oberoi, Mumbai. As he grew up the ranks, he learnt the nuances of hospitality with industry exposure to hotels like Trident Nariman Point Mumbai, The Oberoi New Delhi, The Oberoi Cecil Shimla, The Oberoi Rajvilas Jaipur. His last assignment with the Oberoi group was at The Oberoi Beach Resort, Mauritius. During this tenure, he has conceptualized and spearheaded numerous Food and Beverage projects at various luxury locations. Tanmay joined the Marriott family in 2018 as a Director of Food and Beverage in Mumbai where he played an instrumental role in orchestrating successful restaurant openings, and product enhancement.
During this role, Tanmay also assisted the openings of The Ritz- Carlton, Pune and conceptualized and supported the launch of Port Muziris, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Kochi. Consistent results and eye for detail got him to move to Sri Lanka to open the halo project, Sheraton Colombo Hotel as the Director of Operations. He was responsible to lead business and strategic operations of the property. His experience with pre-opening and operating hotels makes him a well-rounded industry professional with a keen eye for quality and perfection. Tanmay is trained in vocals of Indian classical music. He loves to spend his recreational time amidst different genres of music.
