Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) saw a 3.28% rise to INR 258 following its announcement of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Airports Authority of India (AAI) for the construction of a subway/underpass in Kolkata. This project aims to connect the operational area to the Airport Authority of India residential colony, with an estimated cost of INR 229.43 crore.
RVNL specialises in executing various railway projects, including new lines, doubling, gauge conversion, railway electrification, metro projects, workshops, major bridges, construction of cable-stayed bridges, and institutional buildings.
Additionally, the company reported a 6.24% decline in consolidated net profit to INR 358.57 crore and a 6.44% fall in revenue from operations to Rs 4,689.33 crore in Q3 FY24 compared to Q3 FY23.
