Registered tourist guides form All Assam Tourist Guides Association

The All Assam Tourist Guides Association (AAToGuA) has been established by registered tourist guides in Assam. The organisation’s primary objective is to prioritize sustainable tourism development by identifying the specific needs of communities in Assam and other North Eastern states.

Additionally, AAToGuA aims to identify potential tourism destinations and promote community-based and sustainable tourism practices. The association consists of experienced and new tourist guides from various sectors who have come together to work towards the conservation and protection of the state’s rich heritage and natural resources. Furthermore, AAToGuA is committed to raising awareness about responsible tourism and will serve as a consultant, counselor, facilitator, and provider of information to institutions, organizations, and individuals interested in responsible tourism initiatives.
