Pickyourtrail strengthens presence in Tier-II cities with Jaipur office launch

Pickyourtrail has opened a new office and offline store in Jaipur.

According to a report by FICCI, India’s outbound tourism market is set to reach USD 18.82 billion by 2024, driven by rising disposable incomes, improved connectivity, and a growing middle class.

This growth is particularly evident in Tier-II cities like Jaipur, where the demand for international travel is booming. The number of Indians traveling abroad is expected to rise to 50 million by 2030, with Southeast Asia and the Middle East among the most popular destinations. Further, Pickyourtrail’s data shows that in 2024 so far, 10% of their bookings were from tier-II cities. Of which, Jaipur contributed to over 7 times more bookings from H1 of 2024 versus H2 of the same year.

Commenting on the company’s expansion, Hari Ganapathy, Co-Founder, Pickyourtrail said, “At Pickyourtrail, customer experience is non-negotiable. We’ve come a long way, but I truly believe we’ve only scratched the surface of what we can achieve. Jaipur is just the first step in our ambitious growth plan, with 50+ stores set to open across India over the next 12-18 months, focusing on Tier 2 cities. These physical storefronts will complement our robust online presence, catering to the needs of travellers who prefer face-to-face interactions when making big-ticket holiday plans.

He added, “Further, in a post-pandemic world where remote work has become the norm, we’ve embraced this shift seamlessly, and Jaipur offers the perfect combination of talent and connectivity. Its proximity to Delhi and the access to a skilled workforce make it a strategic choice for our expansion. We’re excited about the role Jaipur will play in our journey, as we continue to provide seamless, personalized travel experiences.”

The Jaipur office starts with a team of 20 passionate travel experts, with plans to expand to 75 within the next 8-10 months. This local team will focus on providing personalized travel solutions, supporting customers throughout their journey—from planning and booking to seamless execution.
