New York City Tourism + Conventions, United Airlines interact with travel trade in Hyderabad

New York City Tourism + Conventions, in partnership with United Airlines, organised an event in Hyderabad for travel trade. The event aimed to update the fraternity in Hyderabad and Secunderabad about the latest offerings in New York City, including new hotels, attractions, in-person signature events like the 50 Years of Hip Hop celebrations, and the upcoming FIFA 2026.

The event witnessed the presence of notable personalities, including. Arun Govada, Director of Tourism Market Development – Asia at New York City Tourism + Convention; Monis Mahfooz, Sales Manager for North, West, and South India at United Airlines; Moin Mohammed, Account Manager at United Airlines; and Raghavan Srinivasan, Principal Commercial Officer at the Consulate General of the United States of America. This gathering attracted considerable attention, as 17 agents from the travel industry in Hyderabad, including senior agents and company leaders, were in attendance. Their esteemed presence underscored the significance of this collaborative endeavour. The campaign incorporated various strategic components to actively engage the travel trade community in Hyderabad and Secunderabad.

During the event, the Visa Officer shared positive comments about the visa process, highlighting a significant reduction in the visa processing time to a remarkable 300 days. This development is expected to facilitate smoother travel arrangements for individuals planning to visit New York City.

The joint efforts of New York City Tourism + Conventions and United Airlines, supported by the US Consulate in Hyderabad, underscore the commitment to fostering stronger ties between New York City and Hyderabad’s travel communities. By sharing the latest updates and exciting opportunities in New York City, both organizations aim to encourage travel agents to promote outbound business and facilitate memorable experiences for their clients.
