jüSTa Hotels & Resorts to open its first Property in Kolad, Maharashtra in September 2023

Homegrown luxury hospitality brand jüSTa Hotels & Resorts, which currently operates 20 hotels across India, is set to make its foray in Maharashtra. The company will open its first property in the State in Kolad in September 2023.

Spread across a 6-acre area, the jüSTa Rudra Resort & Spa in Kolad is set amidst undulating greens and small hillocks of the Western Ghats. The Resort is located at a three hours’ driving distance (115kms) from both Mumbai and Pune and it is the perfect getaway for those who are looking for alternatives to other overcrowded tourist destinations near Mumbai. The Resort is perfect for individuals and families as well as for MICE, intimate destination weddings and social anniversary celebrations. Since Kolad is the river rafting capital of Konkan, jüSTa Rudra Resort & Spa is a great base for adventure enthusiasts who want to enjoy the rafting experience in the region.

Regarding the company’s entry into Maharashtra, Ashish Vohra, Founder & CEO, jüSTa Hotels & Resorts, said, “If you want to be a national player, you can’t ignore Maharashtra. It is an extremely important State for any brand when you look at the sheer economic size and purchasing power of the market. We chose this resort in Kolad as our first property in the State because it is a very good property with a good owner, the location is right in between Pune and Mumbai and it is a commercially viable venture. Moreover, we are already at an advanced stage of discussion for opening another resort in Maharashtra.”

jüSTa Rudra Resort & Spa offers 60 rooms in five categories, 3 conference halls that can seat up to 250 people, 6 breakaway areas, a boardroom, an amphitheatre, a swimming pool, 3 lawns, a restaurant, a bar, a fitness centre, a spa with 5 treatment rooms as well as facilities for a range of indoor and outdoor games such as tennis, badminton, soccer, table tennis and carrom. For adventure enthusiasts, Kolad offers a lot of options apart from river rafting, including trekking, kayaking, zorbing, rock climbing and bungee jumping.

There are 39 Standard Rooms at the Resort, 5 Deluxe Rooms, 10 Club Rooms, 4 Cottage Rooms and 2 Dormitories. Many rooms have a sit-out patio and all the rooms overlook lush green spaces. The rooms are elegantly designed to blend with the surrounding. They are furnished with unique mid-century furniture, handpicked from ancient havelis. All modern amenities, including Tea/Coffee Maker, Electronic Safe, LED TV with Satellite Cable, RO Water and Unlimited Free Wi-Fi, are available in each room. The multi-cuisine restaurant can accommodate around 75 guests at a time and while it specialises in Maharashtrian delicacies, guests can opt for cuisine from various parts of the world.

Apart from Maharashtra, jüSTa Hotels & Resorts currently has a presence in 8 states, namely Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
