Fokker on Path to Service Embraer Jets in Asia

Fokker Services Asia, a subsidiary of Fokker Services Group, and Embraer have recently announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding.

This MoU outlines the path for Fokker Services Asia’s facility in Seletar, Singapore to become an Authorised Service Center for Embraer’s first generation E-Jets family, further supporting Embraer’s growing presence in the Asia Pacific region.

The MoU sets the stage for the certification of Fokker Services Asia as an Authorized Service Center for Embraer. Both companies plan to finalise a definitive agreement in the first half of 2024, after which Fokker Services Asia will be officially approved by Embraer to provide maintenance services for the E-Jets first generation family.

This development is well-timed, given the increasing demand for such services in the region.
