Fareportal partners with the National Mission for Clean Ganga

Fareportal, a global travel technology company, employing 2,100 people at two major centres in Gurugram and Pune, has partnered with the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) for their ‘Namami Gange Programme’, a project that underscores Fareportal’s long-term commitment and support for initiatives aimed at environmental conservation and community welfare.

‘Namami Gange Programme’ is an Integrated Conservation Mission, approved as a ‘Flagship Programme’ by the Union Government in June 2014 to accomplish the twin objectives of effective abatement of pollution, conservation, and rejuvenation of the national river Ganga, to ensure its ecological integrity. In line with the company’s commitment to various socially responsible causes, including climate change and environmental protection, Fareportal has contributed INR 25 lakhs to the cause.

Fareportal has always extended support for underprivileged children’s education and healthcare, assistance for children battling cancer, and aid for families affected by intellectual and developmental disabilities. Glenn Cusano, President, comments, “Our support of NMCG is in line with Fareportal’s commitment to our planet and the well-being of multiple communities living on the banks of this magnificent river. We aim to continue such initiatives in the future, highlighting our dedication to making a positive impact in the world we live in.”
