ETAA South chapter organised a Destination Expert program to Sikkim and Darjeeling

ETAA (Enterprising Travel Agents’ Association) south chapter had recently organised a Destination Expert program to Sikkim & Darjeeling. The Destination Expert program was hosted by Club Mahindra Le Vintuna Gangtok Resort. Sailesh Kumar, Senior manager Sales- East India took initiative to invite ETAA south chapter to experience the newly started property. For this trip, the official air travel partner was Air Asia and Ideal Leisure Holidays, a DMC, was hosting partner.

It is important to mention here, Sikkim is also home to glaciers, alpine meadows and thousands of varieties of wildflowers. Steep paths lead to hilltop Buddhist monasteries. Darjeeling, a gorgeous town in India’s West Bengal state, is situated as Himalayan foothills.

Commenting on this, a ETAA member who was part of this trip, said, “ I congratulate mainly Princy garu and the core team for organising such a wonderful FAM Trip.It was a mixed experience of learning and leisure. I have been selling this sector for many years but never got a chance to visit. This is my first visit. Now I can sell this sector much more confidently. It was an exciting trip , going to Tsomg lake at high altitude, Gangtok roads and Darjeeling roads, driving skills of north east people are amazing. Staying at Club Mahindra and Anutri was awesome. Food was also good.”
