Emirates launches world’s first robot check-in at DIFC

Emirates has launched a facility at the ICD Brookfield Place of Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) called Emirates City Check-in and Travel Store. The facility offers customers a wide range of services to save time, including booking facilities, check-in for flights, and luggage drop-off.

One of the standout features of the facility is the world’s first robot check-in assistant named Sara. The robot will greet customers and assist them with the check-in process, including printing boarding passes and baggage tags. Customers will also be able to purchase travel essentials at the store, such as neck pillows, headphones, and travel-sized toiletries.

The Emirates City Check-in and Travel Store aims to provide a convenient and efficient experience for customers, allowing them to complete the check-in process and drop off their luggage in the city center, saving them time and hassle at the airport.
