Bezawit Tassew takes over as Ethiopian Airlines’ Regional Director India Sub Continent

 

 

 

Bezawit Tassew has taken over as Ethiopian Airlines’ Regional Director India Sub Continent from April 1, 2024 and will be stationed in Mumbai.

Tassew joined Ethiopian on August 26, 2002 and served the airline in various positions in Marketing & Sales, Manager Customer Relations and Area Manager Rwanda, the position she was currently holding. She is a Bachelor of Arts Marketing Management Degree Holder.

Her rich,varied and long-standing experience will be an opportunity towards elevating Ethiopian’s operation in the Indian Sub Continent.

Ethiopian Airlines has witnessed rapid growth, network extension, upgrading level of services rendered to its valued customers, introduction of the New Generation Boeings and use of the state-of-the-art technology and programs that cope with the successive advancements in the airline industry. Currently, Ethiopian is the largest and fastest growing and the most profitable Airline in Africa, and one of few such airlines in the world. Her appointment in India has come at a very challenging time for the airline.
