Bangkok Airways partners with Sabre to expand its network

This extended agreement represents the third renewal between the two companies, ensuring Bangkok Airways will continue using Sabre’s comprehensive suite of network planning and optimisation solutions to create profitable routes and enhance passenger options. The airline utilises Sabre’s cloud-enabled Schedule Manager, Slot Manager, and Codeshare Manager.

“We’ve been collaborating with Sabre for almost a decade. In that time, Sabre’s technology has become essential to both our daily operational efficiency and our long-term growth strategy,” said Chulin Kocharoen, Vice President – Network and Product Development, Bangkok Airways. “We are delighted that this renewed agreement will allow us to continue leveraging Sabre’s advanced, intuitive solutions to optimise our flight schedules, enhance route planning, and quickly adapt to changing conditions in our regional markets.”

Bangkok Airways, recognised as Asia’s Boutique Airline, operates flights from Thailand to over 20 regional destinations, including Singapore, the Maldives, Cambodia, China, and Laos. Based at Suvarnabhumi Airport, the airline recently announced new interline agreements with Air India and a codeshare deal with Singapore Airlines, further streamlining travel experiences and improving passenger connectivity. This brings its total codeshare agreements managed through Sabre’s Codeshare Manager to 28.

“We are pleased that this agreement signals Bangkok Airways’ continued confidence in our technology,” said Rakesh Narayanan, Vice President, Regional General Manager, Asia Pacific, Travel Solutions, Airline Sales. “The network planning and optimization solutions that Bangkok Airways continues to select from Sabre work together effectively to enable the airline to automate and execute profitable schedules, proactively manage slots, and expand its network, ultimately improving customer choices and satisfaction.”
