Amadeus expands footprint with engineering site in Pune

Amadeus is expanding its operations with the opening of its new Engineering and R&D center in Pune. The launch in Pune will be Amadeus’ second R&D and engineering site after Amadeus Labs in Bengaluru, which is the second largest engineering site for Amadeus worldwide. The new center in Pune will play a pivotal role in deepening Amadeus’ presence in the Indian market and anchoring activities for Amadeus Labs in India and worldwide.

Over the past 10 years, Amadeus has grown expeditiously and efficiently making it one of the top key players in the Indian IT ecosystem for travel technology. Besides transforming travel experiences for global travelers, the Pune site will also focus on strengthening Amadeus’ hospitality solutions. Through the new site, Amadeus aims to expand its engineering capabilities and leverage the diverse and skilled local talent pool, enabling a positive future for the growth of Amadeus Labs in India.

Amadeus will begin its operations with the hospitality division in Pune by early 2023. This expansion is set to make India operations more robust and holistic by strengthening commercial and engineering activities.
