Air India Express to operate over 360 daily departures for summer

In a bold move set to redefine air travel in 2024, Air India Express has unveiled its anticipated schedule with over 360 daily departures. With this the airline is poised to connect a diverse array of destinations, marking a significant uptick in its network compared to the previous year.

The cornerstone of this ambitious endeavour lies in the remarkable expansion of both domestic and international flights. Demonstrating a commendable growth trajectory, Air India Express reports a remarkable surge of over 25% in domestic flights and a commendable 20% increase in international flights. This translates to a staggering addition of 55 domestic flights and 19 international flights, totaling an impressive 259 domestic and 109 international departures.

Not content with mere numerical growth, Air India Express is also amplifying its frequencies to key international hubs such as Abu Dhabi, Dammam, Jeddah, and Sharjah, further solidifying its position as a leading player in the aviation industry.

In a nod to passenger convenience and choice, the airline introduces four distinct fare categories on its new Boeing aircraft. From the economical yet efficient Xpress Lite to the opulent Xpress Biz offering Business Class seating with complimentary Gourmair meals, travelers are spoiled for choice.

Moreover, Air India Express is reinforcing its commitment to customer satisfaction by enhancing frequencies from pivotal domestic cities including Ayodhya, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kannur, Kolkata, Kochi, Mangalore, Thiruvananthapuram, and Varanasi.

As the nation gears up to celebrate Holi, Air India Express adds a touch of festivity to its award-winning in-flight dining menu, ‘Gourmair,’ by introducing the traditional Indian sweet “Gujia.” Promising guests a gastronomic journey like no other, the airline continues to elevate the in-flight experience to new heights.

Furthermore, the accolade of being the most punctual airline, as per data reported by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for February 2024, serves as a testament to Air India Express’s unwavering commitment to efficiency and reliability.

In essence, Air India Express’s unveiling of its summer schedule for 2024 heralds a new era of excellence in air travel, characterized by growth, innovation, and an unwavering dedication to customer satisfaction.
