The Government of Uttar Pradesh is organiaing a Kumbh Summit across its 18 administrative divisions ahead of the Maha Kumbh 2025. The summit will celebrate the cultural and spiritual heritage of the state, featuring various events like the Kumbh Abhinandan Road Show, Bal-Yuva Kumbh, Kala-Sanskriti Kumbh, Kavi Kumbh, and Bhakti Kumbh.
The initiative, beginning in Lucknow and concluding in Prayagraj on December 14, 2024, will engage a wide range of participants, including schoolchildren, artists, and cultural performers. Divisional-level events will be organized, with cultural academies and departments assigned specific responsibilities. Over 12,600 artists have registered for the summit. Prominent locations like Bundelkhand University, Banaras Hindu University, and Shri Ram Bhadracharya University will host regional summits in the coming weeks. Various coordinators have been appointed to manage the events across the divisions, ensuring smooth execution.
This initiative reflects Uttar Pradesh’s efforts to celebrate and promote its rich cultural and spiritual traditions in preparation for the Maha Kumbh.
