The Moroccan National Tourism Office (MNTO) recently highlighted Morocco’s readiness to attract MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) movements from India. Hosting exclusive events in New Delhi and Mumbai, the MNTO created a platform for fostering new partnerships, strategic collaborations, and exploring opportunities within the MICE segment, further strengthening Morocco’s appeal as a business travel hub.
During the events, Jamal Kilito, Country Manager-India at MNTO, presented Morocco’s diverse offerings for corporate events and incentive trips. In New Delhi, Errachid ALAOUI MRANI, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Moroccan Embassy, welcomed the attendees, emphasising the strong bilateral ties between India and Morocco, and outlining Morocco’s tourism and visa policies.
The events were designed to engage select MICE professionals, giving them a deeper understanding of Morocco’s growing prominence as a destination for business travel. Attendees were able to explore the country’s capacity to host large-scale corporate events, supported by a rich cultural backdrop and excellent infrastructure.
Reflecting on the events’ success, Kilito shared that the positive response from India’s leading MICE tour operators affirmed Morocco’s increasing appeal. He expressed optimism about future missions, aiming to further strengthen ties with the Indian market and develop new collaboration opportunities. Morocco’s blend of stunning landscapes and rich heritage positions it as an ideal destination for both leisure and MICE travel from India.
