Eco Hotels and Resorts Limited has announced the opening of its new property, “The Eco,” in Vadodara, featuring 57 rooms in a prime location. This launch follows the success of “Eco Satva Kota,” a 63-room property that showcases the brand’s commitment to eco-friendly options and net-zero carbon emissions. Eco Satva Kota has already gained recognition for its unique green offerings.
The brand’s focus on sustainability is evident in its environmental effective accommodations, which ensure that the carbon footprint is measured and neutralised. Eco Hotels aims to expand rapidly, with plans to reach over 500 rooms by the end of the year. The company is actively identifying prime properties across the country for immediate capital deployment and expansion of its operating inventory. It also plans to expand to the Middle East, South Asia, and South East Asia.
Akash Bhatia, CEO, Eco Hotels and Resorts Limited, emphasised the brand’s dedication to promoting eco-conscious travel options across India. He stated that the addition of “The Eco” in Vadodara brings them closer to reaching over 500 rooms by the end of June 2024 and a vision to operate 5,000 hotel rooms in India over the next five years, scaling up to 15,000 hotel rooms within the next ten years.
Vinod K Tripathi, Executive Chairman, added that the company is committed to spreading its carbon net zero footprint with “The Eco” at Vadodara and is working on innovative ideas to change the way people eat and live while staying in a hotel. He emphasised the importance of leaving a positive impact on the hospitality industry and being conscious of the trust investors have placed in the company, aiming to turn it into a profitable and rapidly growing hotel chain in India.
