Mishari Group unveils luxurious rainforest pool villas in Phuket

Mishari Group Ltd, is poised to revive interest in the “sleeping giant” of Karon Beach by introducing rainforest pool villa sanctuaries with breathtaking 180-degree views, enticing a new international generation of lifestyle-oriented buyers to this legendary destination.

Situated at Karon Beach, Melia Phuket Karon Residences stands as a hillside development boasting a 138-key hotel and 68 low-density residences. Set against the backdrop of the arching bay and the azure waters of the Andaman Sea, these residences offer panoramic views from a lush forest “box seat” location. Spanning 16 acres (40 rai) of centuries-old jungle, amidst towering indigenous trees, Meliá Phuket Karon Residences seamlessly integrates the natural beauty of the surroundings with contemporary, sustainable design, incorporating an ecological nature reserve covering over 50% of the development.

“The natural terrain and the mesmerising bay views have been the driving force behind this project,” remarked Faheem Ahmed, Chairman of Mishari Group, a developer renowned for its accomplishments in London and Hong Kong. “It brings us immense joy to introduce the pool villas and condominiums, which are poised to attract a growing number of international residents opting to live in Phuket, either full-time or part-time.”

The metamorphosis of Phuket post-Covid is well-documented, with factors such as its island allure connected by over 50 international direct flights daily, coupled with amenities like international schools and world-class medical care, transforming it into a haven for residential lifestyle seekers.

A selection of 16 three and four-bedroom Ocean View Pool Villas (ranging from 320-490 square meters) offer luxurious two-level living spaces with open-plan interiors, expansive terraces, and an elevated 9.5-meter-long outdoor infinity pool. Additionally, 52 condominium units ranging from 56-square meter one-bedroom Ocean View Residences to 88.5-square meter two-bedroom Ocean View Residences provide residents with light-filled living areas, high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling sliding doors by the Underwood Art Factory, bespoke furniture, marble bathrooms, and modern kitchens.

Furthermore, a total of 52 one- and two-bedroom low-rise condominiums are perched on the hillside, offering breathtaking views.

All residents will indulge in five-star services managed by Meliá Hotels International, a distinguished European hotel group, including an 800-square meter forest spa, bars and restaurants, a beach club, and a nature park. Karon Beach is conveniently just five minutes away via a dedicated shuttle service, and residents can also avail themselves of a 70-foot, four-bed Sunseeker boat accommodating 20-30 people.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with Mishari to introduce a collection of pool villa sanctuaries,” stated Ignacio Martin, Asia Pacific Managing Director of Meliá Hotels International. “This project aligns perfectly with our nature-centric approach. By seamlessly blending natural allure with world-class hospitality, this development will once again elevate Karon Beach as one of the most coveted destinations on the island.”

Established in Spain in 1956, Meliá Hotels International is the world’s foremost resort management company, boasting over 380 hotels and resorts across 40 countries worldwide. Recognized as the “Most Sustainable Hotel Company in the World” in 2022, Meliá is deeply committed to environmental protection and community welfare across its global operations, including Phuket.

Construction of Meliá Phuket Karon Residences is well underway, with 60% of the project already pre-sold. The first show condo is set to be completed by March 2024, with all condos and pool villas expected to be fully finished by March 2025. Residents will have access to a Meliá-managed rental pool.
