IHCL announces the signing of a fifth Ginger Hotel in Miramar

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, today announced the signing of its fifth Ginger hotel in Goa. Located at Miramar, the hotel is a management contract and will be designed around the brand’s lean luxe design and service philosophy of offering a vibrant, contemporary, and a seamless hospitality experience to its guests.

Commenting on the signing, Ms. Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL, said, “This signing is in line with IHCL’s strategy of strengthening its presence in key markets. Goa is now a year-round destination and receives a large footfall from both leisure and business travellers. This will be our fifth Ginger in the state. We are pleased to partner with Tridentia Homes LLP.”

Strategically located in Miramar, the hotel is close to beaches and popular tourist spots. The 160-room hotel will feature an all-day diner – Qmin, offering a variety of global and local favourites, a banquet hall, swimming pool, activity areas and a fitness centre. This Greenfield project is slated to open in 2026.

Meghana Kamat Sawardekar, Partner, Tridentia Homes LLP said “We have a longstanding and successful partnership with IHCL. We are delighted to work with the company once again for our third hotel.”

Miramar is situated at the confluence of Mandovi River and the Arabian Sea. It is home to Miramar and Caranzalem beaches and is a bustling tourist area.

With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 13 hotels across brands in Goa including three under development.
