Noida International Airport (NIA) has announced a strategic partnership with redBus to provide passengers with direct access to intercity bus services from the airport. The collaboration is being described as the first partnership of its kind between an airport and a bus mobility platform in India, aimed at improving travel convenience and regional connectivity.
The initiative will connect the airport with more than 20 direct intercity bus services linking major destinations across North India. Travellers will be able to access routes to cities such as Agra, Mathura, Lucknow, Dehradun and Chandigarh through the redBus platform.
Passengers using the service will have access to several digital features, including GPS-enabled live tracking, online ticketing and round-the-clock customer support. The service will be operated through air-conditioned buses provided by leading transport operators, offering a convenient onward journey after arriving at the airport.
To ensure smooth transfers, the airport has planned a dedicated bus staging area where passengers can board and deboard buses. On-ground support staff will also be available to assist travellers and improve the overall transit experience between air and road transport services.
According to airport officials, the partnership aligns with Noida International Airport’s long-term vision of becoming a major multimodal transportation hub for Northern India. The airport aims to integrate multiple transport options into a single travel ecosystem, making regional travel more efficient and seamless.
The collaboration is expected to strengthen last-mile connectivity for passengers while expanding transport choices beyond traditional taxi and private vehicle options. As the airport develops into a major aviation gateway, such integrated mobility solutions are expected to play an important role in enhancing passenger convenience and regional accessibility.
