SkyDome, described as India’s first and largest permanent immersive event dome, is set to launch in late October in Jaipur’s Kukas hospitality corridor. Located next to ITC Mementos, the venue will cater to destination weddings, conferences, corporate events, concerts, exhibitions, cultural performances and large-scale celebrations.
The venue has been designed to accommodate more than 5,000 guests and combines indoor and outdoor infrastructure. Its 60-metre-diameter, 21-metre-high structure includes around 30,000 square feet of indoor event space, while integrated production systems allow the architecture itself to become part of the event environment.
A key feature is a 360-degree immersive projection system powered by 17 Christie 50,000-lumen laser projectors. The technology allows organisers to transform the dome’s interior and exterior shell with visual content tailored to different themes, brands, live productions and celebrations.
Sachin Mutreja, Director, SkyDome, said the venue has been developed in response to the growth of India’s organised live-events market and increasing demand for experiences beyond conventional event spaces. He said the facility brings together technology, infrastructure and creative capabilities in a permanent destination.
Sumit Chandhoke, Director, SkyDome, said the immersive environment gives organisers greater flexibility by allowing the surrounding structure to become part of an event rather than relying on a fixed stage or screen. The venue is intended to provide event agencies, wedding planners, brands and creators with a flexible platform for large-scale productions.
