Radisson Hotel Group has announced the signing of four new hotels under its midscale brand, Park Inn & Suites by Radisson, in Siliguri, Rajkot, Bhuj, and Darbhanga. This strategic expansion, carried out in partnership with NILE Hospitality, highlights the brand’s focus on tier-2 and tier-3 cities that are witnessing a surge in travel demand from both business and leisure segments.
Each city has been chosen for its unique potential. Rajkot stands out as a key business hub in Gujarat, while Bhuj’s proximity to important trade ports like Mundra and Kandla enhances its dual appeal for business and tourism. Siliguri continues to thrive as the gateway to Northeast India, drawing visitors year-round due to its strategic location and religious significance. Darbhanga, an emerging economic center in Bihar, is rapidly developing into a hotspot for hospitality growth.
Nikhil Sharma, MD & COO, South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group, stated that the expansion reflects the brand’s strong momentum in India’s rising cities. The new properties aim to offer a blend of global standards with local relevance, catering to the evolving needs of travellers in underserved regions.
With this move, Radisson strengthens its position as one of India’s largest international hotel operators. The partnership with NILE Hospitality reinforces a shared vision to redefine hospitality across untapped Indian markets through flexible development models and a focus on sustainable, long-term growth.
