Public transport in the Noida-Greater Noida region is set for a major upgrade. The Uttar Pradesh government will soon roll out a new bus service connecting the upcoming Jewar International Airport to Pari Chowk, covering approximately 42 km. Managed by UPSRTC, the initiative aims to improve mobility across the rapidly growing YEIDA zone.
Though a limited service already exists, the new route promises better frequency and broader coverage. It’s a timely move, especially with the Jewar Airport expected to begin commercial operations this year, poised to become Delhi NCR’s second aviation hub.
In addition to this, two more UPSRTC bus routes have been approved. One will run from Botanical Garden to Kulesara and Bhangel via Noida Sectors 20 and 21, and the other will connect the YEIDA office to Dankaur Chowk, Sector 17, and Bhanghel—a 51-kilometre stretch. These routes will cater to daily commuters, university students, and residents of Rabupura, Bhangel village, and several Noida sectors.
Looking ahead, plans for an electric bus service from Delhi to Jewar Airport are also in the pipeline, reinforcing the region’s focus on sustainable and efficient connectivity.
