Taiwan Tourism hosts roadshow in Delhi

Taiwan Tourism made a strong comeback in New Delhi, hosting its first post-pandemic roadshow at Le Meridien, attracting over 110 travel agents and 12 media outlets. With Air India and EVA Air as airline partners, the event focused on promoting seamless travel between India and Taiwan, rekindling interest in Taiwan as a prime leisure and MICE destination.

Engaging activities, including lucky draws and social media challenges, kept attendees excited, with one lucky winner from Ice Group India winning a Taipei tour package and round-trip EVA Air tickets. The roadshow highlighted Taiwan’s appeal to Indian travellers with a focus on MICE and leisure tourism.

Noel Saxena, Taiwan Tourism’s India representative, emphasised the growing potential of India’s MICE market, noting the roadshow’s success in building awareness. Taiwan is planning further events, including a roadshow in Mumbai and a leisure FAM trip to Taiwan for top Indian travel partners.

EVA Air highlighted its strong travel routes between India and Taiwan, with codeshares and interline options through Singapore and Bangkok. As Taiwan gears up for ITB Mumbai, it aims to broaden its reach and attract both leisure and business travellers from India.
