Cheval Collection, the luxury serviced apartments showcased its portfolio at SATTE 2024. Cheval Collection currently operates eight Residences and one Maison in London, three Residences in Edinburgh and one Maison in Dubai, with over 800 unique and varied apartments to choose from.
After a hugely successful visit to SATTE in 2023, leading luxury apartment and hospitality brand, Cheval Collection exhibited at the 2024 edition to network and build valuable business relationships with key stakeholders in this booming market.
Key industry reports from Quarter 4 of 2023 show that outbound tourism from India is at an all-time high which is reflected in the 12% year-on-year increase in bookings to Cheval Collection properties in London, Edinburgh and Dubai from Indian visitors travelling overseas.
Doug Greenwood, Director of Sales & Marketing at Cheval Collection who attended the exhibition explains “Our attendance at SATTE 2024 clearly demonstrates the importance of the Indian consumer travel market to Cheval Collection. India is already a prosperous market for us across The UK and the Middle East, but we are looking to double the share of the Indian market through active promotion and events like SATTE are perfect for that.”
Cheval Collection announced the opening of its first international property Cheval Maison – The Palm Dubai, which came to market in April 2023 and turned out to be the brand’s most successful opening to date with 7,500 room nights booked in the first 100 days.
Commenting on Cheval Collection’s growth ambitions, Greenwood said, “Now that borders are open and visa requirements have settled down, our pipeline of openings is a true testament to the levels of demand we’re seeing from India and across the globe – Cheval Phoenix House is opening its doors in summer 2024 and Cheval Maison – West Regent Glasgow will be opening in 2026. We’re also looking to expand the portfolio by four properties per year, with firm expansion plans across the UAE and the Middle East, with a focus on Dubai, but with a keen interest to explore opportunities in Saudi Arabia if they arise.”
