Ahmedabad is set to launch India’s first luxury banquet cruise on the Sabarmati River, elevating the city’s tourism and hospitality landscape. With an investment of INR 25 crores, the cruise will operate between Atal Bridge and Dadichi Bridge, offering an unparalleled blend of technology, comfort, and cultural immersion. This project promises to redefine Ahmedabad as a premier destination for luxury tourism.
The 49-meter-long vessel boasts two distinct spaces: a fully air-conditioned lower deck for comfort and an open upper deck ideal for starlit events. Premium features include a banquet hall, live performances, a mocktail bar, an exclusive VIP lounge, and a state-of-the-art kitchen ensuring fresh, high-quality cuisine. Wi-Fi, CCTV surveillance, and a sophisticated waiting area enhance passenger convenience and safety.
Supporting the cruise is a specially designed jetty with international-standard check-in counters and advanced security, capable of handling 700 tonnes. The journey will be enriched by an audio-visual guide narrating Ahmedabad’s history and heritage, creating a deeper connection for travellers while enjoying a luxurious experience.
Tickets will be available online and offline, ensuring accessibility for all. Developed in partnership with a private firm, the cruise is expected to boost Ahmedabad’s economy significantly, attracting domestic and international tourists and setting new benchmarks in India’s luxury travel industry.
