Switzerland Tourism welcomes Christian Schoch as the new Director for India. Hailing from Eastern Switzerland, Schoch stepped into this role in April, bringing with him a wealth of experience in tourism and marketing. After beginning his career in the financial sector, Schoch transitioned to tourism, where he gained expertise in the aviation industry and later held various marketing positions.
As Director India, Schoch will lead tourism strategies, foster partnerships, and implement marketing initiatives to attract more Indian tourists to Switzerland. His appointment is a significant move to enhance Switzerland’s presence in this key market.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the role, Schoch stated, “I am honoured to take on this role and look forward to contributing to the growth of Switzerland’s tourism sector in India. I’m eager to collaborate with our partners to showcase Switzerland’s unique attractions, initiatives like Swisstainable, and unforgettable experiences.”
