The Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) achieved a major milestone by successfully testing its Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) system on the South Runway. This advanced aeronautical system ensures precise landing trajectories for pilots through color-coded light signals, enhancing flight safety. The airport’s engineers also completed the calibration of aeronautical ground lighting, marking a critical step toward operational readiness.
