N S N Mohan has made history by being elected as the Deputy Vice President of Skål International at the 83rd World Congress in Izmir, Turkey. This marks a milestone for Skål, as Mohan is the first Asian and Indian to hold this esteemed position in the organisation’s 90-year history. Skål International, founded in 1934, is the largest global hospitality and tourism organisation, uniting industry leaders across 82 countries.
Mohan has been an influential figure in Skål International, currently serving as Director of Finance in 2024, and previously overseeing Technology Innovation and Special Projects in 2023. His extensive contributions include roles as Director of PR and Communications for Skål International Asia and India, and two terms as President of Skål International Hyderabad, where the club won “Club of the Year” in 2022. His leadership also helped bring the Skål World Congress to Hyderabad in 2017, further elevating the city’s standing within the global network.
In 2018, Mohan was honored with the Skål International Ambassador Award during the Skål World Congress in Mombasa, Kenya, recognising his exceptional contributions to the movement. His election to Deputy Vice President reflects his commitment to fostering growth, collaboration, and innovation in the tourism and hospitality sectors.
