Marriott International has announced that six SAMHI Hotels Ltd. properties will transition from franchise to managed entities, expanding Marriott’s managed portfolio in India’s key business cities. By October 2024, Fairfield by Marriott Mahindra World City, Four Points by Sheraton Chennai OMR, Four Points by Sheraton Jaipur, Four Points by Sheraton Pune, Fairfield by Marriott Hyderabad, and Fairfield by Marriott Ahmedabad will complete this transition.
Leveraging Marriott’s global sales and distribution networks, these properties will enhance their visibility, revenue potential, and guest experiences. With access to over 210 million Marriott Bonvoy members, they are positioned to attract a loyal customer base and increase business opportunities.
Pranay Verdia, Area General Manager, Marriott International, highlighted the significance of this move in strengthening their partnership with SAMHI Hotels and enhancing guest satisfaction. Ashish Jakhanwala, CEO, SAMHI, expressed excitement about the transition, anticipating improved prospects for the hotels through Marriott’s management expertise.
