Ixigo has launched an innovative “Price Lock” feature for flights, allowing travellers to lock airfares for up to 2 days and book later, once their plans are confirmed. Available for domestic flights, this feature offers flexibility and protection against fluctuating fares, making travel planning more convenient and stress-free.
With Price Lock, starting at just INR 99 per passenger, travellers can secure airfares and pay later. The feature protects against sudden price hikes, providing up to INR 4,000 price protection per passenger. If fares drop, users benefit from the new lower fare, ensuring they either pay the locked price or a reduced rate, but never more. This offers added reassurance for flight bookings, making the process smoother and more secure.
