IndiGo starts flights from Hyderabad to six cities across India

IndiGo Airlines has launched six new direct flight services from Hyderabad to various cities, including Agra, Prayagraj, Ayodhya, Kanpur, Jammu, and Agartala. These new routes, which began on September 23, 2024, provide travellers with more convenient options to explore cultural and heritage-rich destinations across India. The new flights also enhance the connectivity of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), making it a key hub for domestic travel.

Flights to Ayodhya and Kanpur began on September 27 and 28, respectively, operating four times a week. The Ayodhya flights will run on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, while Kanpur flights will operate on the same schedule. Prayagraj, with services starting on September 28, will see flights three times a week, offering easy access to this important religious destination.

Jammu and Agartala are also part of the new direct routes from Hyderabad, with flights starting on September 24 and September 23, respectively. These routes offer a convenient connection to the northern regions of India, allowing travellers to explore spiritual and cultural sites with ease.

The new flight services underscore IndiGo’s commitment to expanding its domestic network, offering passengers flexible and seamless travel options to over 75 domestic and 18 international destinations. These additions reinforce RGIA’s role as a crucial gateway for travellers across India.
