GTDC pays dividend, promotes sustainable tourism

The Goa Tourism Development Corporation Ltd (GTDC) has paid a dividend of INR 45 lakh to the state government for the financial year 2023-24. GTDC chairman Ganesh Gaonkar presented the cheque to Chief Minister Pramod Sawant in the presence of tourism minister Rohan Khaunte and other officials.

Chairman Ganesh Gaonkar highlighted that this marks the second consecutive year of GTDC contributing a dividend to the government. He emphasised that the achievement underscores GTDC’s commitment to supporting state initiatives and fostering sustainable tourism in Goa.

GTDC managing director Kuldeep Arolkar attributed the success to the leadership of the chairman and the Board of Directors. Their vision has driven the corporation to achieve financial milestones while aligning with Goa’s tourism goals.

This development reflects GTDC’s dedication to sustainable growth and its role in advancing Goa’s reputation as a leading tourist destination.
