British Airways starts third daily flight on Mumbai-London Heathrow route

For the first time since March 2020, British Airways has restarted a third daily flight, BA134 from Mumbai to London Heathrow, adding to its two-a day schedule. The airline has worked to create an extensive schedule to give customers more choice and availability.

Departing at 08:50, it is scheduled to arrive in London at 13:10 local time. This additional flight has a good connection time for British Airways’ extensive transatlantic network allowing travellers ample choice while travelling to the US. Direct flights from London include New York, Miami, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

British Airways will be operating this flight on its state-of-the-art Airbus A350 aircraft, which features the Club Suite – the airline’s latest Club World (Business) cabin. The newly designed Club Suite offers direct-aisle access, a suite door for greater privacy and luxurious flat-bed seats in a 1-2-1 configuration. Boasting 40 per cent more storage, including a vanity unit and mirror, Wi-Fi, enviable 18.5-inch inflight entertainment screens, high-definition gate-to-gate programming and PC / USB power, luxurious new furnishings including a plush new pillow and a warm quilt from The White Company, new amenity kits and an enhanced service and an improved dining experience; every aspect of British Airways’ Club Suite has been designed for today’s customer.

British Airways currently operates 49 flights a week from five cities in India, with a double daily from Mumbai and Delhi; and a daily service from Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. This new flight will increase the weekly total to 56 flights.

Moran Birger, Head of Sales for South Asia, Middle East and Africa, British Airways, said, “As the financial capital of the country, Mumbai is a vibrant city full of discerning international travellers who are always on the lookout for great travel experiences and better travel options. With these additional flights we will be offering a convenient choice of three flights a day from Mumbai to London which connects on to our worldwide network.

“The additional flight will feature our new Club Suite in Business class; it has been created to suit the needs to our individual customers. Each seat has been designed to offer privacy, comfort and space – a place where we know our customers enjoy to work, rest and play.
