Zostel has introduced Zo Trips, an innovative initiative aimed at transforming the fragmented group travel market in India. With Zo Trips, Zostel seeks to provide seamless travel experiences for solo travellers, couples, and groups, ensuring convenience and enjoyment while exploring stunning destinations. The initiative features curated short (1-3 days) and long (6-9 days) travel experiences designed to cater to diverse traveller preferences.
Zo Trips covers iconic Indian locations like Meghalaya, Spiti, Kerala, Andamans, Zanskar, and Tawang, along with international destinations such as Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, and Thailand. Through collaborations with local experts, Zo Trips provides authentic experiences that include self-drive expeditions, multi-day treks, and travel combined with entertainment events. Dharamveer Singh Chouhan, Co-founder & CEO of Zostel, stated, “Zo Trips reflects Zostel’s commitment to redefining travel for modern explorers by offering curated itineraries and 100% locally-driven experiences that go beyond conventional sightseeing.”
The initiative addresses challenges in India’s group travel market, such as inconsistent quality, hidden costs, and lack of authentic experiences. With the sector growing at a CAGR of over 12%, Zo Trips bridges the gap by providing structured and reliable travel solutions. The itineraries include adventure activities like scuba diving, ziplining, cultural exchanges, and food tours, ensuring an enriching journey for participants. Zostel plans to expand Zo Trips to 15+ countries and over 100 domestic destinations by the year’s end, marking a significant milestone in their mission to make group travel convenient and memorable.
During its pilot phase, Zo Trips attracted over 3,000 travellers who praised its well-organised and enriching experiences. From trekking in Spiti to visiting hidden gems like Anini in Arunachal Pradesh and Zanskar in Kashmir, Zo Trips caters to all types of travellers, offering both popular and offbeat destinations.
