Resorts World Cruises to make India debut with sailings from Mumbai

 

Resorts World Cruises is set to expand its operations to India, with its Resorts World One cruise ship making Mumbai its homeport from March 5 to June 1, 2025. Departing from the new Mumbai International Cruise Terminal, the ship will offer three weekly roundtrip itineraries: a 2-night High Seas Cruise on Fridays, a 3-night Lakshadweep Cruise to Agatti Island on Sundays, and a 2-night Goa Cruise on Wednesdays. This move aligns with the Indian Government’s “Cruise Bharat Mission” to boost domestic cruise tourism, offering travellers the convenience of boarding directly from Mumbai.

Passengers can expect world-class amenities onboard Resorts World One, including accommodations ranging from staterooms to luxury suites in “The Palace,” a private enclave with exclusive privileges and 24-hour butler service. Dining options include 18 restaurants serving international, vegetarian, Jain, and halal cuisines. The ship also features a Roman-themed pool, Jacuzzis, live performances, entertainment activities, and enrichment workshops, ensuring a vibrant and memorable cruise experience.

The 3-night Lakshadweep Cruise takes travellers to Agatti Island, renowned for its coral atolls, crystal-clear lagoons, and unspoiled beaches. Guests can enjoy activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving, glass-bottom boat tours, and more. Meanwhile, the 2-night Goa Cruise offers a taste of India’s coastal charm, with visits to iconic beaches, historic landmarks, and culinary delights.
