AirAsia yesterday resumed its flight operations from Bhubaneswar to Kuala Lumpur. According to the statement issued by the airline, the inaugural flight, carrying a full passenger load, departed from Biju Patnaik Airport at 12:50 PM and arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (Terminal 2) at 7:05 AM local time.
“Guests onboard flight AK30 were given a warm reception upon arrival by representatives from Tourism Malaysia, AirAsia’s Senior Management and a host of Allstars who handed out exclusive goodie bags to the delighted travellers,” AirAsia said in a statement.
Air passengers must note that the airline is offering direct flights from Kuala Lumpur to Bhubaneswar three times a week. This is in addition to its other direct flights to Indian destinations including Chennai, Jaipur, New Delhi, and Ahmedabad.
