Private members club The Quorum to open in Hyderabad

The Quorum, India’s first home-grown members-only work & social lifestyle club, plans to launch in Hyderabad by mid-2023, adding a third club to its network.

Having cemented its position in Gurgaon and Mumbai as a hub for community, culture and work for the global Indian citizen, the brand is now poised to extend its offerings to the city of Hyderabad.

Located at the marquee Knowledge City development, The Quorum is placed strategically at the convergence of the city’s key commercial and residential areas and enjoys close proximity to HITEC City, Jubilee, and Banjara Hills. Knowledge City has been developed by Sattva Group in partnership with Blackstone Real Estate India.

Spread across two floors and 70,000 square feet, this will be the largest club in The Quorum’s current repertoire.

In addition to its three clubs, members will enjoy access to The Q’s global reciprocal network of over 60 of the most sought-after private members’ clubs across 28 countries in key gateway cities like London, Paris, New York, San Francisco, Dubai, Singapore to name a few.

Speaking about the upcoming launch, Vivek Narain, Founder & CEO of The Quorum said, “The Quorum was conceptualized as the quintessential third space that plays host to bright minds with big ideas. With this addition to our club network, members of The Quorum will soon have seamless access to three clubs. Our aim is to build a community of relevant and accomplished patrons across 3 more locations by 2026, and our expansion into Hyderabad is a stepping-stone towards this goal. The Q, with its growing footprint, is creating a meaningful ecosystem that is shaping the culture of our times.”

The Quorum Hyderabad has brought on board greymatters, a Singapore-based globally renowned, hospitality design agency. They bring to the table specialist strategic, concept, interior, architecture, food & beverage, branding & identity capabilities. greymatters has previously led projects for some of the world’s most premium hospitality brands such as Shangri-La and Grand Hyatt, to name a few.

Founder of greymatters, Alan Barr says, “greymatters is excited to collaborate with Sonya and Vivek, bringing their vision and signature style to life over The Quorum’s latest chapter in Hyderabad. From the outset, we wanted to create multi-functional spaces that are full of life, contemporary yet timeless, reflecting in the choices of colours, textures, and finishes. Our approach adds a layer of tactility which allows for the spaces to adapt, be immersive and able to transition throughout the day with ease, encouraging seamless business, cultural and social engagements.”

Speaking on The Quorum, Adrija Agarwal at Sattva Group said, “The prime location of our office development makes it uniquely poised to double up as a lifestyle destination for the city of Hyderabad. The Quorum has become synonymous with creating world-class spaces that offer unique experiences centred around community, events, food & beverage, and much more. People are always looking for something different and our amenity offering at Knowledge City will bridge this gap. We look forward to The Quorum building a cultural fulcrum for the city.”

Unique to The Quorum Hyderabad is a 15,000 sq. ft. open-to-air roof-top terrace and pool with multiple dining and entertainment zones. Also, the club which is spread over multiple floors will have two distinct core member zones – one for work and the other for leisure. In addition to this is a 110-seat premium co-working facility under its TBQ (The Business Quarter) brand co-located to the club, with seamless access to members’ areas.
