Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Delhi and one of the national capital’s landmark hospitality addresses, Radisson Blu Plaza Delhi Airport joined hands at the relaunch of the hotel’s award winning Soy Neung Roi restaurant post Covid lockdown. The Radisson restaurant was launched on september 22 with culinary functions showcasing the brilliance of Thai gastronomy’s flavours, textures, colours, presentation and rich dining experiences. The restaurant also specializes in the Pan-Asian cuisines.
The event started with Thai cookery updates, followed by latest tourism situation and updates in Thailand in view of the Covid-19 pandemic and Thai cookery theatre and cooking class by Soy Neung Roi Executive Chef Sreenivasan and delicious Thai food lunch.
The launch was attended by Vachirachai Sirisumpan, Director, TAT New Delhi and Ashwani Kumar Goela, Cluster General Manager, Radisson Hotel Group – South Asia & General Manager, Radisson Blu Plaza Delhi Airport.
Also using the occasion to update and inform about the latest tourism situation in Thailand, Sirisumpan informed that Thailand has resumed the issuance of all types of Visa and COE (Certificate of entry) for permitted non-Thai nationals (except for medical treatment) starting September 20, 2021, although the 14-day quarantine period remains in place for now. Travel to Phuket and Samui Sand Box and related initiatives are not applicable to travellers from India yet.
