South African Tourism to participate with 35 exhibitors at SATTE
Having successfully hosted a 4-city roadshow in India along with experiential consumer, corporate and trade activations, South African Tourism (SAT) has announced yet another high impact association with South Asia’s leading travel show – SATTE 2022. The tourism board will showcase destination South Africa at the 29th edition of the trade show, which will be held at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida in Delhi NCR from May 18 to 20, 2022.
South African Tourism, along with 35 prominent South African exhibitors, will introduce novel and upgraded destination offerings. The suppliers will include 3 South African provinces namely Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency, Gauteng Tourism Authority, Tourism KwaZulu Natal, unique accommodation options, luxury experiences, offbeat activities, SMMEs, advanced MICE infrastructure, as well as adventure, wildlife and culinary capabilities. Lucrative partnerships are anticipated given over 1,200 exhibitors, 35,000 buyers, 800 VIPs and delegates, and travel professionals from over 50 countries are slated to visit the trade show.

During the tourism board’s 4-city Roadshow across Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad, South African Tourism showcased long-term investment and interest in the Indian market and outlined a strategic roadmap to garner 64% yoy increase in Indian visitors in 2022. The recently rolled out e-visas for India are anticipated to drive a large part of this growth.
