Pride Group of Hotels successfully concludes Pride Cup for Lawn Tennis in association with Indian Hospitality Network

Pride Group of Hotels has successfully concluded Pride Cup for Lawn Tennis in collaboration with Indian Hospitality Network, Its first-ever sports event post-pandemic in the hospitality industry. Held in Bharat and Play Tennis Academy, New Delhi the tournament took place on 20th and 21st November 2021. Over 85 professionals in audience cheered the 6 groups with 30 odd participants from the corporate world who entered into the tournament. Prize sponsored by Travel Wizus, the Pride Cup for Lawn Tennis was one of the first tournaments in the region.

Mr. Amit Sidana, Vice President- Sales & Marketing, Pride Group of Hotels, says, ” We are delighted to have conducted this tournament. This is just the beginning, we want to bring together corporate and sports in events like this. We are hoping to do many more of such events in near future. All the participants were enthusiastic and, we could have not imagined a better start to the events and collaboration than the Pride Lawn Tennis Cup. With the pandemic, many professionals faced enormous work pressure and monotonous life, through such initiatives we aim to support and enhance the health and well-being of all participants.”

In the first-ever initiative from the Hospitality Industry to host a Sports event in India, Mr. Bharat Bhardwaj won the tournament. Somesh Yadav and Himanshu Mor are the 1st and 2nd runners up. The winners are awarded international & domestic stays and food vouchers. With such initiatives, the hospitality industry & corporate will be supporting each other in the future.
